0-0 HT. A pretty average first half from us, to be honest. Watford are playing exactly how teams should against us. Pressing us high up the pitch, not giving us space or time on the ball, hitting us when we commit men forward yet well disciplined when defending. Their stamina impressed me, but whether they can maintain that in the second half remains to be seen. We have looked a bit nervous at the back, with a few miskicks and miscontrolling the ball on a few occasions where we were lucky they didn't take advantage. I don't know what the hell Cech and Mertesacker were doing, but this lack of communication at the back that we are prone to will end up costing us. We've had a lot of the ball, but haven't created loads of chances. Although, on the occasion we did get in behind, we kept fluffing our lines or they made some excellent last ditch challenges. Ramsey's decision-making in the final third has been extremely disappointing. We need to release the ball quicker and remember to move when we pass because we congest the flanks too often. Hopefully we will improve in the second half.
This is soo typical Arsenal. Look motivated and aggressive one week and slow and toothless the next. We are gonna need an individual moment of magic to get a goal here.
I've been saying ages Ramsey needs to get dropped. Not just for his poor form but he slows our quick counter attacking game. It makes no sense to start him when we have Oxo on the bench.
