Have to give DC massive praise for keeping 2 strikers up front when we were down to 10 men. We didn't sit back and defend, we kept going for it. That put pressure on Mansfield which created their 2 red cards. Without the attacking mentality, those 2 Mansfield reds wouldn't have happened as both happened during our attacks.

    Get in!

Must've been an eventful game - 3 reds and a 98th minute winner!

In the immortal words of Galaxy Quest - 'Never give up, never surrender!'

We're nowhere near the finished article, but have character and determination in spades.

And we're just 2 points off the playoffs with a game in hand. UTG!

We are now 11th after 12 games. We have played 8 of the 10 teams above us. Wycombe and Carlisle are above us who we are yet to play. And Wycombe we should have played as well. So we have the more poorer sides to come.

Knowing how DC tries to win every game, when he was under John Ward , he must have been tearing his hair out. John would have settled for a point even when we had a man advantage, arguing that any point away from home is a point gained. I think DC is the best thing to have happened to Rovers since Don Megson.

Just after DC took over from JW and started playing 442 and we kept dropping the points needed to stay up somebody on the now defunct forum put a comment on saying careful what you wish for, well as we all know we were relegated but we came back up at the first attempt and we are now playing pretty good football most of the time, so I am guessing we have all got what we wished for

Yes, a clear clear clear dive. How the commentators think that was a penalty I dont now <doh>

Embarrassing. No place in football for that. But at the same time there was no need for the Mansfield player to grab Easter and pull his shirt. Easter wasnt awarded a pen and he could see the ref was about to book him. So why get involved? Unfortunately he did get involved and then Easter retaliated. You couldnt make out what Easter done (commentator said headbutt but they also thought it wasnt a dive too <doh>). However the ref clearly seen whatever Easter done. Very stupid to dive when not needed. Very stupid to retaliate, especially in front of the ref! Hope DC gives him a bollocking as he could have costed us today!

Easters goal was a good finish and J Clarkes volley cross right at the end to cross for the winner was a quality cross and Taylors header to win it was a darn good header too considering it was a last minute chance. Showed great composure and got 4 goals in 4 games!

Clear dive, but no way was it violent conduct so DC should appeal that one...

As the ref was three feet away from the incident with a clear view and actually watching it, I can't believe he could possibly have got the decision wrong. The only angle that I have seen is from behind the Mansfield player who ran up to Easter; grabbed his shirt and blocked the view of what actually happened. The Mansfield player should have been booked for his actions as well.

I'm surprised he did it he doesn't seem the sort of player that would. Yeah I expect DC had a little word him

Looking at the highlights, I would say that Mansfield's Number 16 and captain Nicky Hunt should be cited for violent conduct. He ran from distance to confront Easter. Number 24 McGuire also ran some distance and grabbed Easter, closely followed by Hunt who was in there stirring things up, but I didn't see Easter doing anything violent. In the second incident Hunt again ran some distance to grab Harrison, getting Harrison booked. Hunt definitely did not behave like a responsible captain and although he got sent off for a second bookable offence he clearly deserves a greater punishment for going out of his way to get our players into trouble.
