No idea what the record is but we declared for 550 odd in Adelaide in 2006 before losing. Takes some doing to throw away a test match in such circumstances.
Hard to fancy Gleneagles..PS just came back and said the ground was too soft for Covert Love. Be rather ironic if there was a boil over after all the extended on/off saga concerning the big two. No bet for me.
A little e/w on Integral for me - she won the Falmouth Stakes on soft and seemed to be coming back to form with her run in the Sun Chariot
Ffos With SBC on hassadin 11/4 310 Henllan harri 5/2 350 Princeton royal 7/2 420 top spin 9/2 455 is there a difference 6/1
I will be happy to be proved wrong as I have had a small EW on Elm Park, but I think he is in the wrong race as he had a better chance of reversing form with Jack Hobbs than having the pace of these milers in the finish,
Not quite sure what Atzeni was doing there..adjusted his clock a week too early...kinda spoiled that race.
**** it .................... done out of 3rd in the last 5 yards. You have to wonder at the planning of Gleneagle's season .............. can't help thinking they could have achieved more with him.
After that Oddy they were right to keep him off soft ground..obviously can't cope with it. Still has to go down as a bad run and hard to fancy in a BC Classic...any BC race tbh. Perhaps they could have run in North America but since no one can predict the weather...
Missed the post race as I have a new born who is less than a week old and it was time for a feed. What did Aiden have to say?
