Looking at the numbers of posts per club, Charlton top L1 with 6937 Wycombe have 5570 in 2nd Then Preston in 3rd with 967, with the rest with hardly any postings In the Championship Watford have 35644 postings, whereas West Ham have only 394, and Palace 162! In the Premier League Newcastle have a massive 180678 postings and Sunderland have 77832, whereas Arsenal have only 19402 and West Brom 108.... Clearly, some clubs' fans have adopted this board to replace 606, whereas a lot have gone elsewhere. I wonder how we seemed to adopt this board, whereas most clubs seem to have gone elsewhere, does anyone know which boards they're all using?
I think it is due to there being a general bbc 606 consensus that this was the board to go to. I don't know if this happened on other clubs boards? It could also be that other clubs have their own forums that other people have migrated too, we obviously only have Charlton Life so all needed an alternative I can't beleive that 95% of Palace's fans are on here though, great representation from those guys
We seem to of migrated on mass, with one or two exceptions so have carried on the camaradrie. Others have probably done the same elsewhere....N606 not being their preffered option. I came over because it had people i`d corresponded with on 606 over the last few years.
It's a shame that the Huddersfield crew generally speaking didn't come over to not606, always high quality banter on their 606 site - there's a couple of familiar names but I haven't seen anything from the like of mitzi and galpharmer. There was a lot of competition for 606 business when it went down, and I suppose there's a thriving community enjoying themselves on another site or sites somewhere. Curious really as the BBC cited its lack of popularity as the prime factor in knocking it on the head...
We could go fishing on the other sites and bring a few of 'em over... can't be too difficult to track down which sites are being used by which clubs/fans.
were the only away fans your gonna get ,were the second biggest club in the division on herebut its not all good news we only drew with palace in a friendly tonight
same for me, I had a look over here and saw lots of familiar names and jumped ship and if BBC kept the forum open 24/7 like 99% of other internet forums do then people like me would have been able to keep posting past the 11pm locking up time
Once the new season gets underway we may see an increase in members. The BBC are idiots. They don't like anything which is mainly white, working class and popular. I am not discriminating - but football banter is not ethnic enough for them.
I think Ponders is right re once the season is underway we will see a slight surge of new/past 606 members. They will either be here to vent the frustration of CP or to congratulate him on a fantastic start. I'm going for the latter
