    Worst football I've ever watched at SJP was under Allardyce's stewardship. And that's saying something considering the ****e that's been served up over the last few years. I remember going into a home game with the Derby side who got 11 points that season (4 of them came from playing Newcastle) and Fat Sam talking about containing them. Outsiders need to remember that the fans didn't force him out here, but it's a nice myth they like to perpetuate that NUFC fans get every manager sacked.

    I think he will probably keep the Mackems up though and they will win the next derby too.

    I assume everyones saw the stat where the last few mackem managers have all lost their first steve.....freudian slip there, meant first game lol...but yeah lost first game and then the next has been us who they have obviously beat.

    Its all part of Shorts plan to keep conning them. Give them a derby win and they are happy. Then spend no money and change the manager before the derby again next season, get a good run, survive, rinse, repeat. All the while he just keep pocketing the TV Money - they are just too thick to see it.

    true mate, ive been meaning to go and wind them up about it tbh but thought i might have missed the boat. What they need is 8 year contracts and no fkin about, do they not have any aspirations of europe?

    i do agree that fat sams probably what they need short term though, the idea is probably a lot more appealing than the actual reality though...which is frightening in itself.

    Whenever Sam leaves a club the fans are happy. Says it all really.
    He ripped the West Ham fans to shreds in the press this week too.
