Came back from Bruges last week two for one on ferries. If anyone goes prebook the half maan brewery tour in Bruges takes 45 mins spectacular views from roof over city and best bit you get a glass of Bruges Zot beer at the end directly out the vat prior to filtering. Strong stuff hic

Try living on a lump of it for a year eating hard tack and dogs, but no matter.

It is indeed a noble, honourable and essential watery state of matter.

However, it has no place in a glass of Bailey's. FACL.

We've had this debate before and I'm at a loss with regards to your view on this one.

    Baffled.

My favourite at the moment is the Robinsons Old Tom Ginger, available in Waitrose (maybe just the NW). They'll have the ST Peter's Brewery Christmas Ale in soon (also available in Tesco, sometimes) which is another top tipple.

I've just suggested we order 30 of these to get the Christmas do started in December. I don't give a **** about the other 29 but I want to try it but don't want to pay the price, so company CC can cover it. There'll be plenty not drinking so I'll be good for 3 or 4 of them, ****ered.

I'm just glad people have moved on from fruit teas.

We have that, well not the OLD Tom Ginger but the brand. The closest place for the Ginger is Phoenix.

Robby's is the brewery that serves around 3-4 pubs in the town I live in. One of them usually has Trooper in, on tap. It's far superior to having it out of the bottle. Good brewery as long as the landlords keep the pumps clean. Some good session beers & guaranteed to give you overactive & stinky bowel gas.

What can be said at all can be said clearly; and whereof one cannot speak thereof one must be silent. Ludwig Wittgenstein.

I propose the conjecture that Wittgenstein never had ice in his Bailey's.

I went to Bruges about 3 weeks ago sole purpose of trying as many beers as possible. Did not do the brewery tour but had several Zots while watching rugby in the Irish bar. Also had some Bush Ambree which is 12% abv.

You might as well have told me that you'd just buggered a sealion.

    I'd have been equally disgusted.

    What's wrong with you?
