I think (not googling) that with Hoddle we finished 11th in the league 3 seasons in a row. I remember thinking at last some sort of stability, this guy is our best manager for years.

I really rated Glenn Hoddle although he came to us with that terribly blemished record of having played for and done well at the Spuds.

Jose Mourinho for me, we've had some true top quality managers at this club over the last 20 odd years but Jose Mourinho getting our first top flight Championship win in my lifetime will always be the 'Special One'.

Me neither. It would have to get really toxic within the squad/club for Roman to decide to fire the Angry One. Who could they replace him with until a good manager is available? Rodgers? Another interim!

We've already got the best in the Prem. Anything else in this country is a downgrade.

The table says otherwise, but in principle you are right.

Then again he's had a pop at the FA and is talking about Wenger yet again this evening. He's either a man on the edge or a man looking to get sacked.

This. Jose has decided. Sooner the better for all.

This team is not this bad.

Whether or not he should have said it, he's right on both counts.

I'm not so sure, I think he could do a great job without a transfer committee ****ing things up for him, plus he wouldn't have to sell his best players each season with you being in the CL, thus could actually build something at the bridge as I said before he's certainly one of the best young coaches in world football and maybe roman could go against the grain and give a young British manager a chance at building a dynasty.

Totally agree with you there. Jose is not just a good manager he is a great manager up there with the very best, He has proved that not just with Chelsea but with other clubs as well. ....This fine imposed on him is a joke and he is spot on about appealing as they seem to just pluck a ridiculous figure out of the air to fine him with. they love to pick on jose because he is outspoken and says it as it is......how many times have fans said the ref caused us the game ? And when jose complained he gets fined.......Its a joke......Chelsea are very lucky to have a Brilliant manager who really cares about the club........carry on jose you have nothing to prove to anyone..
