Off Topic Not 606 Beer Festival

I am trying out some new beers over the coming weeks.
Starting with

Arbor J BOMB PALE.

£2.65 for 568ml (a pint) bottle.

Good hop flavour, with a reasonable caramel after taste, bit cloudy for me, but I may have to let the next one settle.

If you all have a store that sells beers from around the world then try this one, its my current favorite beer. Its really not brewed at Sierra Nevada its an issue with the Monks not being allowed to brew at their monastery so they brew it at the Sierra Nevada brewery which is just down the street instead.

You can give them a try, I am not really a fan of Sierra Nevada beers which is why I was trying to distance Ovila from them. Maybe ask them if they can try and stock Ovila, it wouldnt hurt to see if they can.

 

Its certainly the big thing here as well with people who like good beers.

I was in Newcastle last week.

Head Of Steam pub - Kwak on tap. Not many places do that, normally bottled, even when I've been in Belgium.

£7 a pint! A half fills up one of those cool glasses though.
