Hadef Jawa'an Al Dhaheri (Minister For Justice), is responsible Abu Dhabi's judges.

I think we've had enough made up nonsense about Man City on this thread now, can we please go back to talking about the proper City?

There's no made up nonsense you just dont like being questioned on your "facts"
The article by David conn clearly states DPM with responsibility for the countrys judges.
Wriggle all you want. He's part of the regime there, a big part of it.
If all you want to look at is the lucre they've paid in and not where its come from and who they are, fine.

I don't support Man City, I have very little interest in what they or their owners do, it has absolutely nothing to do with us charging too much for our season tickets, it's a load of side-show bollocks.

Its funny how our previously experts on Arab culture, and what they're like within their families, and patriarchy set ups etc, suddenly those rules and traditions don't apply to another Arab family.

    When it suits.

Dunno about you Chazz, but honestly, I'm ****ing shocked.

Still, he's letting the fans contribute to the redesign of their badge.

    Diamond geezer for sure.

To be honest, there wasn't a discussion among the Trust about a boycott, never mind a discussion with the FSF.

Hmmmm Those pesky minute takers <laugh>
HCST board are not going to Sheffield Wednesday due to the very high ticket prices for Championship football (Up to £52 at Hillsborough). M.Scott will draft correspondence to members to poll their views on any widespread action HCST should take on the issue.

I haven't had a senior moment, the fact is that I posted that the BBC reporting was poor, I made no comment in support of our clubs pricing policy.

I would not have posted as such if the BBC had made it clearer.

The price difference between Readings lowest "adult" ticket and ours is too much in my opinion, I make that clear. I really do not know why there should be such a difference and I would like to know and understand the reason why.

Reading is a very interesting club to compare us to in terms of the stadium and attendance. Plans to increase capacity have been submitted at least twice, but there does not seem to be the interest unless they are in the PL. Cheap season tickets are not making that much difference in the Championship. The area is wealthier than the East Riding as far as I know. So my question is, do cheap season tickets attract bigger gates or do they just make it cheaper for supporter to go, who would have gone anyway? Is the cost the main reason for supporter numbers being low?

The guess is that cheaper ticket lead to bigger gates, but that does not seem to be the result at Reading. They are far cheaper than us but the numbers attending are not that much different.

The reason why Reading's are cheaper than ours? It is obvious. According to James Mooney it is because Reading own their own ground.. Who gave him that idea I don't know. Maybe Happy could enlighten us?

    Sure!

Noone gave him that idea. He came to that conclusion himself, based on the facts he has to hand. One element of which is they own their own ground, so any use of that ground, at all, benefits the club. Given his role, he has a lot more idea of what's going on at the club, and how its run than you. I know that will offend you, what with your superiority complex and all but it's a fact.

You might need to google "facts".

They're quite useful in some circumstances.

    Your welcome.

We stopped talking about Arab culture, and how families stick together, and there's one absolute ruler that the rest obey, so one in, all in? Or has that changed since it wasn't convenient?

    It is you're welcome. That's a FACT.

Now, have you any explanation for clubs who own their own grounds, many of them getting far larger crowds, whose prices are higher than ours?

The fact you don't think there may be any connection between our owner not being able to purchase the KC, and his comments about its effects (and using at as the reason why he has had to increase our prices so much)and Janes Mooney's just happening to mention Reading owning their own ground suggests naivety on your part bordering on stupidity.
