Don't get me wrong I know they've ll been tap ins but after watching the likes of strikers like Simpson, McLean, Aluko and co over the last few years especially I'm starting to appreciate him getting in the positions to get the tap ins unlike the formers
Hehe. Imagine when he puts his Tina Turner wig on. Anyway, the key for Abel is he looks to be enjoying his football. His reactions at goal celebrations tells a lot. Maybe the preseason has helped him bond with the lads. I'm liking what I see, just not the same way Chazz does.
I just think he's a bit more used to the English game. I'm just hoping the poorer defending at this level will allow him to score more (which I has so far) and help him build his confidence for next year when we're competing in the prem
I know that and you know that Peter, but it didn't stop the club selling Long, and it unfortunately won't stop the club selling Abel. If the price offered is right he'll be gone I'm afraid.
You mean Shane Long of Southampton? The Shane Long who wears "Nike Magista Opus soccer cleats"? Surely not?
Seems he doesn't know that, as that's definitely a Nike boot scoring against Germany... please log in to view this image
No, that's gobbledygook! If, and it's a big IF, we receive an offer somewhere near the 10 million he cost us then he will be gone. We will NOT buy another player for 10 million quid as you are talking Premier League money and we are in the second tier. We MIGHT get a couple of 5 million quid players but I very much doubt it unless they are loan-ins and nobody could hazard a guess as to how many goals they might score. A lot will depend on Diamonde and I look forward to watching him as I believe we have 3 Hull City games in November through BeinSports as well as watching Hernandez too who will still be here. There is every chance we could return to the Premier League but then it's back to the 'same-old-same-old' struggle to sign decent players who can hopefully consolidate us in the third quarter.
Ha, no wonder he's injured. I just looked again at the article that said he wore Puma's and he's wearing Nike in the photo they've used. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/performance/training/shane-long-lead-line#:nQBZ320ET1BRvA
No he hasn't. If he hadn't scoree 5 goals no one would be saying that. This is what I mean when I say City fans go over the top when a player scores a few.
My apologies for an earlier statement but I have just had a look and we get the Sheffield Wednesday v Hull City game "live" on BeinSports tonight (Oz time) so I will most certainly be having a look to assess our team and Mr Hernandez.
Agreed he does this irritating ****ing flick with the ball over the head of the defender which comes off 1 out of 5. In the PL not at all. As long as keeps scoring though, but Brucey will want to get rid in the summer whether we go up or stay.
It is starting to show but it will take until after the next international break for it to happen. The stop and start period does not help. imo.
According to the HDM Bruce wont be starting Henandez against the Wendies in fact I don't think he is even in the travelling players, although this could be a bit of mind games on Bruce's part to lull the Wendies into a false sense of security.
