Chuba Akpom is doing the presser with Brucey this morning.

Despite Hernandez only getting back from Uruguay last night, Bruce isn't ruling him out of tomorrow's game. SB: "We'll see how he is".

We have no new injury concerns.

Not our most exciting press conference ever...

On the subject of Hernandez, why do South Americans play their internationals right at the end of the international break? They only played two games same as European teams did so why couldn't they fit them both in over the weekend and have them back at their clubs for the middle of this week?

I think Peter should tell us what Michael Keane's penalty record was - especially compared to those of more skilled players/proven finishers like Barmby and Elliott.

    Scored 2, missed 3.

I really can't remember him taking that penalty.

This is hilarious, from a Millers site...

In the game against Port Vale, where Keane went on to get sent off, he was involved in a spat when the team were awarded a penalty. As Jonathan Forte was fouled he raced to get the ball to take the spot kick. As he marched back to the spot he was appraoched by Forte and Will Hoskins (who had already scored) but brushed them both away. He wanted to take it, not because he thought he would score but because he wanted to score and he wanted the glory. Of course, he missed and Rotherham drew when really they should have won. It was deja vu in this season's home game to Northampton. With the team winning 1-0, Rotherham were awarded a penalty. Keane once again raced to the ball and visibly fought off designated taker Delroy Facey and other willing takers to miss his second penalty. The Millers went on to lose 2-1.

Sounds to me selfishness on behalf of the South American FA's. Most of their players probably play in Europe and it gives them time to adjust to the time difference and the travel before they have to play. Once they have played they don't give a ****.

Cannot see that type of turnout happening again, certainly not whilst the current set of ****s running City are still around. Incredible turnout that night. Old school aplenty in attendance, flashbacks of an era where you only travelled if you could handle yourselves. Can still see the bottles of piss flying back at there lads in that ane left hand corner, good day out. The historical hatred of both Sheffield clubs and the likes of Boro still burns for some, far too many current foam handed flag wavers won't ever understand why though.

    Allam OUT.

Not so much about fitness more about fatigue I would expect. Hernandez has done over 14,000 miles on top of the game time on international duty.. With a game on Tuesday it could be a better idea to start Akpom and give Hernandez the last 20 mins or so and the start on Tuesday.

Can Maloney be put on penalty duties now please Brucie ?
