so was André Villas-Boas ? rated top5 or 10 by many too based on a successful career with one club
those type of managers always a gamble

he was fighting against relegation for most of the season
new manager succeeded on what Klopp failed in last season with same players, succeeding to motivate them and push them forward
Klopp struggled with the lose of Lewandowski, which make him kind the new Rodgers tbh who struggled without Suarez, buying too many sh!t strikers who struggled all to replace him

Van Gaal has had loads of clubs and has still been a gamble that didn't pay off

Nothing is ever guaranteed but using that as a reason to avoid getting excited is kinda sad

here is Klopp;s league position with Dortmund
amazingly he only finished top2 with Lewandowski, and without him he finished 6th, 5th and 7th..
Kind Rodgers story with Suarez tbh

Nice graph but Suarez was at Liverpool for 2.5 seasons before the one we finished 2nd

true .. there is a gamble with every one coming to PL whether a player or a manager, but odds on LVG succeeding was more.. true he didn't delivered big, but even with all his experience he still trying to find the best tactic in PL. there is always a gamble on any manager coming here, this is why we need to not get overjoyed and just sit and wait and see how it goes.
regarding LVG, i can't say he was a failure neither a success, he is just doing ok

am a gambler, so trust me i would had preferred Klopp or Diego Simeone over LVG.. but will never get overjoyed bcz one of those two will join us .. is only think you expect someone like Matth to do .. is just a common sense to wait and see how it will work, bcz it is a gamble at the end, PL is really a hard league mostly for those without experience like above two .. and yeahh being realistic is not colorful and sad but that is called "having your feet on the ground"

But finished 7th and qualified for Europe. Getting to a cup final that's not the worst season ever.

Rodgers was then simply a better manager then than those who preceded him,
the fact in Dortmund meanwhile is that the new manager is copping better without Lewandowski than klopp ever did in his 3 seasons without Lewandowski
no wonder why he didn't want to sell him Lewandowski and letting him go for free.. seem he was so reliable on the polish striker

To lose Lewandowski for nothing must have been hard for Dortmund to take. A player who's worth 60+ million. Just goes to show how important it is not to allow players contracts to run down to low

indeed, tbh Bayern wanted to buy him, but they didn't sell, sure you don't wanna lose such a player to your rival, but most importantly I think even Klopp himself knew he had no plan B without Lewandowski, may be he was hoping to find a new one next summer but he couldn't, instead he signed a couple of strikers who failed miserably.
tbh seem Lewandowski was so vital to his team just like Suarez was for Liverpool a couple of years ago with the same type of closing down and attacking football Klopp is adopting. so unless Sturridge or Benteke step up to be show a form of a worldclass strikers his system may fail as it did with Rodgers without Suarez

After this hysterical build up by the RS , if they don't brush aside the Spurs 4-0 or 5-0, it will be a huge let down.

    PS:

Has anyone noticed how the poor man has aged considerably in just two weeks? He seems to now carry the world's problems on his shoulders. His joking demeanour has quickly been replaced by a dour seriousness and he is frowning most of the time. FFS talk about sucking the joy out of a guy. One dreads to think what will happen after 3 years...<laugh>

Well Norbert's broken Liverpool's best striker already.

Imagine the #outrage if that had happened on England duty...

He is not the miracle worker after all <laugh> even hapless Brenda did better than him against spurs. Now all he can do is a 0-0 draw.

    The disillusion has begun !

hhhh Branden beat them last 5 matches comfortably.. now they struggled trying to salvage a draw and all credits to the GK not Klopp
