Off Topic 5p carrier bag charge

To me I won't change my habits - only difference is I now leave a little bit lighter in 5p coins. I re-use all my plastic bags in numerous ways so need to keep re-buying them.

There are far more important things wrong in this country that the Government should be working on anyhow! Surprised it has kicked upa fuss as we all know they try to grab money wherever possible!

 

Where the hell was this entirely fictitious account of how laws are made published? It may as well say "the law doesn't count because David Cameron had his fingers crossed"

 

I ignore the law unless it suits at the time.

 

Cant see why this bothers anyone. Actually started taking a bag with me - as any true Yorkshireman would! Its not an issue in Jakarta either - I just bring my servant with me and make them carry my shopping.

 

Does also bring up the interesting idea thatwhen you return stuff to the shop you can also get your money back on the bag. Another little known fact is that they have to give bag free if you are buying fish - so just make sure you buy 1 fish with all your purchases.
