But they know there is a chance they will and they don't rate it a high enough risk to not do it. Even if there is only a 1% chance of being tortured to death (#barbaricindeed), that 1% would stop a lot of people.

Prisons do ****all, we all know they get a life of luxury nowadays with no life pressures etc, all whilst costing tax payers millions.

Seriously though you may have a point but the punishment has to be suitable for the crime, enough for it to deter but not so harsh that it mutilates someone for a low level crime. I lived there for a while and it's not a nice place. There's still crime there so it clearly doesn't always work and some crimes are commited out of desperation which is also something to consider.

I think I've seen a photo of wishi when I looked up one of her books once online. Can't remember what she looks like but I'm pretty sure nothing like Chyna or I would have remembered.

Perfectly normal looking from all I can recall.
