Is it any good? Is it value for money? Is it easy to install? My dodgy BS mate from the Cheese is coming round tonight to sort me some films out on a memory stick, so I'll probably be able to ask hi, about it .
I thought the photo of you on here that a Manx posted once that you confirmed was a short bald man with thick grey muttonchops. Was that someone else?
Is it not free? Think it's free on the roku. I know I installed it once but didnt keep it. (had so many channels on the roku don't remember which is which)
Depends what you're planning on doing with it. I use it to watch Sky Sports and films/TV series. I buy a day pass (£6.95) whenever Liverpool are on Sky Sports. Even if Liverpool are on four time (very rare) it still works out a cheaper than the £32pcm you have to pay Sky or Virgin etc. There are occasional offers that see this cheaper or free though. Pringles did a offer the other week; buy two tubes and get a day pass free. Kids like Pringles so works out well. there are always offers online and usually get them for around £4 on ebay as well. Glad you said "dodgy mate" because I've added Plex to my Now TV box which you can only do by going into the dos settings and installing via wireless from the PC (yep, too technical for you ). This means I can watch any film I have on the PC (also installed Plex there) so long as I tell the PC to share them. Save pissing about with memory sticks etc. You can subscribed for entertainment, movies, etc on the Now TV box too but obviously it costs money.
If you have certain devices (I know xbox works) then you can access Now TV for free but you still have to pay for entertainment, movies or sky sports if you want to watch them.
Todays lunch - Cornish pasty with Egg Fried Rice (weird but don't care) followed up with a Ski yogurt, two orange club bars, a apple and two generous pieces of battenburg cake
I think its two different things. Now TV in UK appears to be some Sky thing. There is an online only channel that you can access from devices like Roku in the US that has nothing to do with Sky. China apparently has their own Now TV too.
This is what RHC was asking about... http://www.nowtv.com/?referrer=nowtv&DCMP=KNC-Brand-nowtv-Core-NOWTV-NC-Google Its not so much the Now TV aspect that I really like, its Plex that I love. Saves so much pissing about with devices etc. Download it to PC and press share. Thats it. Brilliant.
