Would you prescribe to it? Several clubs have one. Man U. Liverpool etc. All the ins and outs. U21s games etc. I ask as it seems that the U21s game v Liverpool on sunday. So maybe shown on LFC channel. So would a SAFC channel work? This game is now at the SOL 3pm sunday.
No more than a live match on Sky takes people away from the games. If a game not televised by Sky/BT then the club should be allowed to show it on their channel / live internet stream. I would happily play a few quid to get a high quality match stream off the club. Reckon the club could get a quite a bit of money like that, especially away games.
Here I am! No, they don't show live first team games, unless they're pre-season friendlies. They show loads of good stuff on MUTV though, I love it. Classic matches, U-21's, re-runs of recent matches, interviews with players, legends and some fan stuff. Liverpool TV is not so good though, just a load of stuff about lock picking, "What I found in next doors bin" and "My hikey-dykey washing line haul". Their footy stuff might as well be just shown on the history channel.
Would be an easy inexpensive test. They could just do a youtube channel like that team from cali did when we played them, the revenue from ads at the breaks would more then pay for couple camera men etc.. Id pay $10 a month and i suspect many 000's more would too. Especially if they gave a discount card at club shop and some other incentives
Don't think so mate, we simply don't have the global following of the teams that are currently broadcasting.
