Wouldnt be surprised. The players won't get back from international duty till when? Wednesday at best, but then even a rest day, so he will have 2/3 days at best to actually work with the team for a tough (relatively) away game.
I'd normally say the team for the first game will be picked by existing staff because the new guy hasn't had time to assess the players etc but who is left from before? Klopp is going to need some guidance in the first game at least, lets hope he doesn't ask Milner
Or he'll asses the squad in training this week and give players who perform best the chance to start no matter how good/bad they've been before he arrived?
Tough game to kick off with. Very interested to see how he sets out the team. For me, result doesn't matter as long as Klopp gets what he wants from it.
I'm sure he'll be doing his homework, looking at videos of recent games, so it isn't as though he'll have no idea of what he has to work with.
