Mandron missed a penalty.

 

1-1 full time.

U21s have had just 1 defeat in the last 21 games.

 

hard fought game wit Dortmund missing a penalty in the 1st half and Sunderland missing one in the dying minutes of the match. I was quite impressed with Mandron who led the line well, although it was a crap penalty that he took which was an easy save for the keeper. All in all a fair result in the pissing rain.
As a footnote I have to mention the amount of bloody leaks in the roof of the West Stand. The water was pissing in all over the place..

At 6"3, could SA see him as a potential target man ? Any one seen him play, could he make the step up ?

 

Good player apart from he needs way more chances then he's going to get at this level.
