Sorry Tom, have you got an e-mail address? I'll send any future posts for you to proof read before I post them
Klopp coming over very well in his first press conference...not a hardship to listen to him. I like one comment: On transfers I am happy to have first and last word....happy to discuss the rest in between.
Except when they play us Like the way he told off photographers for clacking away when he was struggling to hear a question....just how many identical pictures do they need anyway? In the past, they had to get one shot after spending minutes setting their cameras up....now that's real skill....rather than just select the best from a hundred shots.
His first home game in charge is against us. I hope we ruin the feel-good vibe around the place with a resounding win! I would be happy with a draw now though.
We always feel twitchy when a new manager starts, but, however good they are, they can still lose games. Sadly Lovren will not be playing. And remember we have Ronald...and Mane...and Pelle....and Tadic...and Virgil...and (well, you get the picture ).
Both being serious and joking, I do wonder that if Holland were to come calling for Ron (Ron can ignore/dismiss it as much as he wants in public to date, but if a firm approach does land at his door, could he really ignore it?), would Rodgers be interested in applying for the job here? He has no chance of getting a top job, and he comes across as too arrogant to ever be interested in going down to say WBA or Norwich. (Villa or Newcastle might be slightly different. His arrogance could work the other way there, if he were to see himself as the man to finally awaken the so-called sleeping giant). So he's pretty much left with either going abroad, or waiting/hoping for a vacancy at a club like us. Of course whether he were to apply or not, has little bearing on whether he'd get the job...
Nah, let's beat them soundly. Another 3-1 would suit me. We score a few and let them have one just to show we can be friendly.
I think it's in reference to his rock star image [wherever he obtained that from]. First line of the tweet is a play on the first line from A Day In The Life, from the Sergeant Pepper album. Actually the first two lines are apposite: I read the news today, oh boy About a lucky man who made the grade Then there is the Abbey Road album, of course. Quite smart of Dortmund really. I'm bound to say an English club wouldn't be that witty in German.
Brendy, just what are you thinking? Putting the thought in our minds that we might lose Ronald and then get Rodgers,I'm feeling quite nauseous now.
Lallana now claims to be very excited about new manager who can bring the best out in him. Desperate Adam. Very desperate. Lovren meanwhile is walking alone....
