    Please don't take our Macca away. Our salvation. Our hero. A true legend. Priceless. Don't take him, we wouldn't be able to cope. A real midfield dynamo. Messi has nothing on him. But we wouldn't deny him the opportunity to move on if you have a reasonable offer... £5?

    We would hate to lose him, our midfield general, but it seems he has set his heart on a move up North :(

    Saddler, at The Valley, your man Richards gave the best performance by a midfielder I saw last season.

    As anxious as I am to get Mac off our books, IMO you need to look at people who can complement the players you've already got there and that certainly wouldn't include our skill-free midfield dynamo.

    Sadly Richards isn't signing a new contract, past the deadline so we've had to look for a replacement. Our dickhead fans took him for granted, 9+ goals and 6+ assists in a dire side is fantastic. Would have loved to keep him, but who could blame him for pissing off.
