I think he isn't overhyped because he has managed an average of 4 games and less than one goal a year for England over the past decade. That's a far less impressive record than Danny Welbeck. To be honest it's not his fault he was overhyped before he got the chance to prove himself. But it's not him but almost every young English player gets overhyped as well. But Walcott has been suffering from a lot of injuries that has negatively impacting his career. If he can remain relatively injury free then he'll bag a lot of goals this season for . So far hes looking good and getting better.
