now on the west ham O/S says they played gillingham fc this morning gills losing 2-0, west ham utd ran the show!

mix of gills youngsters & foreign trialists, only two i see that played for gills are reggie lambe midfielder 20y/o(ipswich town released) & (ollie mann) prolific striker 21y/o about 5 divisions below us 43 goals last season and 41 goals the year before that plays for someone brantham fc? who ipswich, dag & red, leyton orient, colchester and southend have all shown a interest in!
oh!...darren hawkes also played in goal.

It seems this one was for the young players, not too bad as it is a bunch of young players and the rest trialists, wonder what they were like.

Would not be bad if we sign that Ollie Mann, good back up and if clubs like Leyon Orient, South end and the daggers want him then we should get him, Maybe a player like Cody in him, just maybe.

Charlie Austin played for Poole Town and had a good season with something like 40+ goals...Went to Swinedon and was one of the leagues top goal scorers, always worth a shout with players like that i believe as, like you say, could easily become very profitable...and they wont be very costly if they turn out to be crap

AS I say, Sign him up, I do say that a lot, but he is young and is part of the future of the club, a new "Cody" as I say.

Wouldn't it be more useful to play this Ollie Mann with the first team rather than the kids? Maybe it would of been better to put him in a match where he will get chances in front of goal rather than play him in a game where we were always going to get played off the pitch?

firstly hoadie-boi in future don't return a reply to the red idiot's comment...it doesn't deserve one!

on the ollie mann subject, i hear with him having a year left on contract, they are after a fee, inwhich they have turned down non league bids of around £10,000?...they are looking for £20,000! on the fixtures we still have the likes of lower games against faversham, braintree, tonbridge and ebbsfleet so you never know...still time to look at players in them games? would like to still see jack pallen on trial from dartford who scored two against us nearly a third before going off injuried!

obviously todays game behind closed doors was to keep the players we have on trial way from interested parties!

    UTG!!!

Also I notice a match report has not been put up on our O/S. I would have thought that if we were going to do one we would have done it by now, plus if you read the West Ham report it doesn't give the full gillingham team, it only metioned that winger and Ollie Mann. This may just be me overeacting but I think we are certianly trying to hide who was playing today. :emoticon-0112-wonde

    Thoughts?
