Klopp got his Liga win during his 2nd or 3rd year I guess. Not that long.
FSG will be more patient than that.

I have a feeling Klopp will certainly out perform LvG even this season.

People do realise klopp nearly relegated a side just a year ago that would put 5 past this Liverpool squad.

This will be his toughest job ever. He had more chance of a champions league win with Mainz.

    <doh>

Jose has kept us in bottom places. Now all of a sudden he is worse than LvG?

    Great logic.

To be fair he was behind Mainz getting promoted, and also got them into European qualification. They were nothing before he took over.

All managers have bad times, It's all about learning from those times. You can't tell me that LVG has purely had success, or even SAF??

If you look at Klopp's CV as a whole he's done very well indeed. But of course people will pick out whatever suits their argument best <ok>

Klopps a great manager. He's not perfect and requires complete support. That's what I doubt he will get.

Personally I beg to differ, I think he'll get plenty of support. One thing for sure is - the position we were in we got the best possible manager to have a good crack at the job <ok>

I don't think he will. From the fans or club. He may for a while but its a familiar story with your club, each and every time.

Fail to get top 4 this year and next and daggers will be out.

what are you on? Rodgers ran on empty for good part of 2 seasons. He still got time and money.
Klopp is better and will do better.

There owners are idiots. You don't know much about Liverpool do you?

The owners dug themselves a hole. He should have gone in the summer but they bottled it and then they sack him, after backing him again in the window, after an away draw to Everton.

Beyond idiotic. Klopps miles better, yes, but the same ******s remain in charge of the whole thing.

in germany yes.. here ... Rodgers had an advantage bcz he knows english football better
Klopp style and when and if it will adopt to PL is questionable and is 50-50

It is obvious they wanted longevity. Brendan had atleast until Christmas.
But our situation created by Jose definitely forced FSG's hand here.
They acted fast before Roman, that's all.

Class is permanent regardless of where you are from. Brendan never had.
Rodgers > Klopp in these conditions?
    We shall see.

Klopp is a good manager, but the players he has are not of "Liverpool quality"

class is important but is one of many things needed for a manager to be successful..
Klopp class didn't helped Maines to come back to Bundesliga or helped Dortmund in his last season meltdown
but as you said, let us wait and see
i had same doubts with pedro if he will fit PL or not, and so far am proven right
you can't assume a manager or a player will be a success just bcz he was doing well elsewhere
is 50-50.. we need to wait and see

I knew that as soon as Jose's position was under threat the RS owners would get rid of Brenda to quickly grab Kloppyflop. They simple didn't want to take the risk of the Chavs sacking Jose to get the german.

This may go against the grain in the press and media and especially the deluded RS fans who think he'll defintely be an improvement on Brenda. I wouldn't bet on it <ok>
