Don't listen to 606, or the BBC coverage in general. Does the utter bellend Alan Green still work for them?

If I wanted to listen to biased crap I would watch the Paddy Crerand show <laugh>

At least we keep him in house!

Yep, one old lady's memory of thousands singing it but those thousands not having the same memory.<laugh>

Not doubting her and her fellow choral society members never gave it an airing considering the sad circumstances but she's exaggerating how many were singing it.

I know times have changed but I still find it hard to imagine a load of women from an operatic society in derbyshire all hotfooting it to OT inbetween rehearsals.

Spoony was (possibly still is) seemed to be permanently in between them.

I couldn't name a song in the top 40 now or at any point in the last decade, well since Eminem was good.

My thing is underground. You would hate it.

So she came up with the idea, told her opera friends, and soon the entire stadium (who just happened to know the words) we're all joining in

    Seems #legit

But you can name a song from the 60's and argue the toss about it.

I dont think he has ever had anything in the charts, although pretty sure some of the albums he mixed were top sellers. He was mainstream for a while but started off pretty underground himself. What do you mean by underground?

Let's be honest, it probably was sang in 58. Remember, it would have been a different version, the musical one rather than the commercial one that you lot sing.

Its not to much of a stretch is it? It means nothing, its your anthem and always will be.

Just easy to get you lot a little riled up when you're all basking in Klopp juices just now <laugh>
