Sure. They would just be playing at Edgeley Park in next years grand final. Do you lot burn Liverpool to the ground when the national anthem is played at anfield?
What national anthem? And Utd's owners couldn't give a flying **** what songs are played at OT by leesee's, the music means nothing only the kerching of the extra few bob going into the OT cash registers.
I know Celtic sing the song, but you reckon Utd and fans around the world were singing it in the 50's. If you're referring to the sad gathering at a funeral singing it why mock the memory by using it out of context.
Have a guess at the national anthem.... I mean, its not like its obvious or anything. And yes, the song means nothing, absolutely nothing. Its absolute ****e from some camp musical 60 odd years ago and the horrible, miserable droaning sound of you lot trying to out sing your PA system just makes it worse. But let's not pretend who say it first and that it was sang across the country in the 60s. It became a 'Liverpool anthem' in the 80s, probably because everyone else realised how dreary it is. Around Europe it's sang by loads of clubs. Brugge were singing it a few weeks back. Its also their song.
I'm.not sure who he is bit if he's a famous DJ, he's not a DJ. Sounds like a wedding DJ or a radio DJ. Neither of which are actually DJs. So he's a **** ?
Musical came about early 50s. United sang at old Trafford, in memory of Munich, 1958. First known records of Liverpool singing it were after you won the title in 64? United sang the original version. I also think Glory Glory is ****ing **** but that doesn't mean I am disrespecting my club or anything associated with it. Its just rubbish.
Never said it wasn't. Only that it was sang across the land in the 60s. Was it not a popular song at the time? Was it not commonplace. It came out in 63, so it probably got sang by the whole country for a good decade or so before fizzling out and Liverpool claiming it as their own.
Oh, and the last national anthem played at Anfield was probably the Irish or Welsh, but I could be wrong if you'd care to put me right on the subject?
Still no proof? And even if it was sung(show me a link)at a Munich memorial it was chosen as a hymn for that occasion, the fans never sang it before or after that sad day? You must have evidence your story is on the up?
The only time a national anthem is played is if there's an international game. cant be arsed looking to see which was the last one.
