Injury strikes Sunderland again

    Is this going to go on all season, I hope not:-

    Sunderland defender John O'Shea is to return to Wearside from the club's training camp in Germany after being ruled out of the remainder of the tour through injury.

    The 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international will head back to England on Wednesday after tweaking a muscle during his debut for the club against Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday.

    Have we got a jinx on injuries?

    Surely it can't happen again! If it goes on, early pre-season looks like we will need to sign another 9 player's, just to cover.

    We've got two injuries already with Shane Ferguson and Danny Guthrie after one pre-season match. Guthrie is out for 6-8 weeks and no news on Ferguson yet though he was sent for x-rays.

    What is it about the NE and injuries as both clubs suffered badly last season!

    I feel that the problems we have with injuries has made us all a bit paranoid.

    Aah tiger balm, I love that stuff, bought some in Malaysia a few years ago and got addicted to the smell of it, it's a beautiful smell.
