Some good full backs in this competition. Aside from the obvious I'd say Brown is England's only world class player at the moment. Spedding looks better than I thought, and the Japanese fullback is very good too. Fantastic support in the stadium. French look knackered.
Madigan is playing very well. A bit more experience and he will be very good indeed, you can still see he needs a bit of 'thinking time' at the moment, doesn't quite trust his instincts.
Ireland pulling away now. I predicted a while ago that Ireland would win their group and cruise to the semis. I've seen nothing to change my mind. The French will be hammered by the all blacks.
Another try, great work from the Irish. I think the French are knackered Col, they have put nearly twice as many tackles in as the Irish. I think they have a better chance against the All Blacks than Ireland would though, for some reason I can't explain. Still not a very good chance of course.
That should be that now which is good for me as I'm in Ireland for a week from next Saturday. Should be fun in the pubs.
The French have just buckled in the second half, all credit to Ireland, they've upped the tempo and the French just couldn't handle it...
