Only Gaelic Football. Very little care is given to hurling. Football is miles out in front in Derry City. Page after page of coverage in the papers for Sunday League ****e.... Apart from last Sunday where a handsome hurling coach made the front page. These last couple of weeks I've seen loads of City of Derry Rugby tops. They are ****ing lovely looking jerseys.
Rugby at public school level has always been of a significantly higher standard than at state ones in England. Surprised that anyone would think it an issue worth commenting on really - still anything to knock Nigel eh?
I've given up correcting these thick taigs. He no longer plays for England but Joe Worsley went to the same school as me: Hitchin Boys' which accepts boys from decent middle class families in Hitchin and surrounding villages. If they don't accept you, you have to go to The Priory School or, and this doesn't bare thinking about, a school in Stevenage.
