I do, unless i'm in london, when it becomes impossible to do so.

What really annoys me is the removal of bins at mainline railway stations. I use the trains quite a lot, and it's bloody irritating that i have to hold on to my litter for a couple of hours.

I've just found the worlds stupidest person. Some fat chav mother has just walked past my house, and thrown something in my garden, think it's a crisp packet.

Also, Why do chavvy parents not know how to talk, only shout? I'm working class, but at least my parents raised me with equal measures love and common sense.

It doesn't matter what your humble beginnings are - you should know about love, respect, pride, difference between right and wrong, common sense and the concept of 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'.

We seem to be developing a gene-pool and dumbing-down of people and society which is truly disturbing.

You "hate" litter but you still did it?
Throwing litter in the Thames is littering, Cowboy!

If you cannot find a bin, carry your litter home just as if it was anything else you'd bought from a shop. Normally (even in London) you will find a suitable means of disposal long before returning home. The Thames is not a bin, your pocket, or a bag; nor a substitute for any of them.

Would you have thrown it if a Police Officer was watching? If your answer is 'no', something is inconsistent with basic respect and common decency.

Cosicave, what's your occupation? For me you come across as a teacher or police officer, you just seem to know how to sort a situation out without causing violence.

Ha! Well thanks for the compliment Silver.
It is probably the result of having worked with many crazy people!
 - from all over the world.

As it happens, I do teach and have had a close association with Police establishments, which has inevitably resulted in a working knowledge of some legal procedure; although I could not say if this has had a direct impact on my particular set of values or any moral standards - and let's face it; like any establishment, the Police has a percentage of its members who stray from the thin blue line too! As with anyone else, my code of conduct is largely the result of my up-bringing.

    But this is my occupation:
I have raced cars for many years, and also instruct others who aspire to become racing drivers, as well as those already involved who want to hone their skill-set for better results, i.e coaching.

I would prefer not to explore this further publicly if you don't mind, since it is not the reason I am here in a forum; but will respond to a Private Message.

I probably would have still thrown it if there was a police officer around. That is my only deliberate littering offence, ever. I threw it in the thames because it was better than leaving it on the street.

James is doing my head in. He's got one of those irritating, bland US accents.
