The Sir Trev Memorial (well he might be dead - we don't know) Man City Headline Game 2

So who makes it into the grand final? Who has shown that they deserve to be considered the best of the best? Which headline writer produced an Aguero performance and which ones were more Aguer-oh-no?

Well the first two casualties are easy to pick out. It was a mod massacre! The public have spoken and decided that only one mod deserved any votes and it wasn't the chino arse bandit or the tub of lard! So out go Albert and Obi. Pathetic efforts lads that weren't worthy of Trev's great game.

Obviously Thirty Thirty deserves to be in the grand final as he had the only entry with two votes. Does he ****!! His blatant slagging off of all other entries, and attempts to bribe the public with pictures of scantily clad Hooter girls playing Twister is clearly against the spirit of the game, and quite frankly he should be ashamed of himself. Dirty Thirty is therefore disqualified.

Captain Chaos put in a decent effort and managed to attract a vote.......from Captain Chaos! This wasn't against the rules even if it was the work of a sad individual determined to be a glory hunter. However, He fell foul of the advertising rules by mentioning a brand name. Captain Chaos is therefore disqualified.

So what about Windy? His headline seemed promising enough, but suggesting that the Magpies had been terminated was a cruel and low blow that was clearly designed to get false hopes up. We haven't been terminated and have to endure another thirty games yet this season. Such devious tactics are unacceptable. Windy is therefore disqualified.

The self proclaimed Funky dick offered his best effort and it wasn't bad. You could even go so far as saying it was clever word play. However, his attempts to get a competitor banned from the site cannot go unpunished. He knew fine that if Captain Chaos was banned then nobody would be left to vote for....Captain Chaos. This is a democracy and everyone deserves the right to vote. Removing that right is highly unethical. Funky Dick is therefore disqualified.

Heed. What can I say? I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with your effort. I was so disappointed that I voted for it. However, on closer inspection it clearly bares no resemblance to the actual game. To suggest that Aguero got lucky was a clear attempt to distract and deflect from the utter ****ness of our defence. That is not what this game is about. Heed is therefore disqualified.

So who does make it to the grand final?

We are left with three remaining entries.

Dr Shak: "man city have six on de bruyne"

This was a late entry, which totally ignored the time that entries should have arrived. What better way to sum up the performance of a defence that arrived late to every ball than this effort of a headline? A clear and deserved finalist!

Trev: Didn't enter

And why should he? Why should any of us have put in an effort when the team didn't? Clearly making an astute point about our performance, Trev is a clear and deserved finalist.

Neville: "As Rugby comes to Tyneside its Aguero scoring 5 - and he didn't even even need to try!"

A clearly **** entry that didn't even concentrate on the right sport. However, I did survive the mod massacre - clearly proving a vote of confidence in myself as the best mod, gamesmaster and cheat. It would be criminally wrong (and against the spirit of Trev's game) to throw this back in people's faces by not awarding myself a place in the grand final. Neville is therefore a clear and deserved finalist.

I'm taking the moral victory for this and previous one. I'm the winner. You have no authority in these matters, only Trev does. After that its down to votes.
