I'm sure a few more bucks would persuade Redknapp to pack in the golf course and dog walking for the dream job he's always wanted. I'll even write the press announcement for him.
Apparently he has and is ..................... Money can make people change their mind & do all kinds of things. Boy, when he fails at Sunderland, he better tell his travel agent to delete all northern cities from his brochures.
He has everything going for him this year - Sunderland's annual new manager bounce is something to behold - more regular than the Northern Lights. Plus Newcastle fans hate him. If he has any sense though he won't be hanging around after the last day of the season. Sunderland's annual plummet to the depths of despair after the new man has spent bucket loads of money is something to behold - as regular as the new manager bounce. The Ying to the Yang of six /nine months earlier. What I still find odd is that Harry did not follow good old Jermain Defoe. Actually thinking about it, I can see why. That's no good. He wouldn't then be able to buy him at great expense to drop him from a great height 3 months later or move him on in the next transfer window and buy him back the following year. Harry's equivalent of BOGOF. Just think he could re-sign Peter Crouch and Gary O'Neill for the umpteenth time as well, not to mention Adebayor - all lovely lads who've done good for him before the lure of the next big bung proved irresistible and he cashed in/sold on for only a modest loss of a few million. Forget about Scott Parker though. he'd catch a nose bleed if he went North of Watford.
Sam like Harry will go after all his old mates. Whatever happened to that mouthy Sunderland fan who gave us stick for a couple of weeks when we were going down? Not to vocal now. If Sunderland get relegated expect then to do a Leeds.
Harry's never managed a team further north than spurs in his whole career, come to think of it he never played for a club north of London either, so it was never an option.
The media has already said that Sam will go for Tompkins at wham and surprise surprise Kevin Nolan!!!

I'm sure he'll wait a couple more years before targeting Crouchie. Probably about 3 clubs away as we speak.
[QUOTE="YorkshireHoop Forget about Scott Parker though. he'd catch a nose bleed if he went North of Watford.[/QUOTE] I saw him playing in a match of the season for Newcastle last night - no nose bleed and he played 55 games for them?
Good grief. I stand corrected. You're absolutely right. He played for Toon according to Wikipedia between 2005 and 2007. Apart from that 5 London PL sides. Obviously playing for Newcastle was such a painful memory for him that he decided never to leave the Capital again.
Looks like he'll have to wait for Joe as he just got sent to Coventry:- please log in to view this image Joe Cole joined Aston Villa from West Ham in 2014 Joe Cole: Coventry City to sign Aston Villa midfielder on loan Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Aston Villa's former Chelsea, Liverpool and England midfielder Joe Cole on a month's emergency loan. The 33-year-old, capped 56 times by his country, will join on Monday on a 35-day deal until 22 November. I'm sure he'll have a fantastic impact," said City boss Tony Mowbray. "I've met with Joe. He has watched us play several times this season. He likes the way we play and has shown a real enthusiasm to come." Cole, who will watch fifth-placed City's League One game at home to Blackpool at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, is expected to make his debut at Rochdale on Tuesday night. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34554406
