I would recommend caution when speaking of stalking, being frank or, heaven forbid, offering an opinion that might not conform to some prescribed view. I recommend this because I was recently banned for a reason that was never properly explained - apparently there are those who post on here who complain by PM; rather sad but real - but this was sufficient for a ban to be imposed upon me . I and others did not understand this. I think the complainers were few and my transgression was non-existent, but it seemed to be good enough for a moderator to flaunt protocol and take independent action against me, ignoring the opportunity to ask the opinions of his fellow moderators (the norm), two of whom would have disagreed with him (the third not declaring his opinion, as yet.). I cannot highlight the so-called offensive posts as, in the best traditions of a dictatorship, they were removed from public gaze and the censorship was carried out quietly and off-forum. I give you (and others) this caution, as it now seems that it is improper to ask a question, offer an opinion or disagree with the opinion of one of our moderators. I have been accused of stalking Hull City AFC DMD; if that is how asking questions, challenging opinion, or having a conversation is defined then I suppose I am guilty. But stalking, really??? I was told the reason for my ban was because I was "abusive, overly aggressive, threatening, or to "troll". Seriously? Aye, I may post long-winded, I might have strong views on Bruce and the owners, I might not be your particular cup of tea, but worthy of banning? Be cautious, as you do far worse than me (good for you, it's a bloody forum!), do not become a victim of any confusion as to what is acceptable and unacceptable on this board - from you as a poster or someone else as a moderator.
