Firstly I wondered how on earth there could be 7 minutes worth of Adryan on show... Watching the clip I then realised, show a simple pass or a little run then repeat it at least twice in slow motion, I guess they have to repeat each little bit twice or it would not be over in 60 seconds. Yes we all have opinions but the majority of fans, actually 95% of them are all in agreement Adryan was a waste of time. Rarely do so many fans agree on the same thing, you're always going to be in the minority LL when it comes to Adryan and after the revelations that your match reports are put together and your not even at the match you are NEVER going to convince those fans that have actually seen him play. He can't even get a game for his new club who are 3rd bottom, my own opinion is I wouldn't swap a single current midfield player at our club for him, he really has nothing to offer and never will.
There was always going to be a debate about Adryan Ristac, I put it up because there wasn't much football talk going but plenty of debates about mods and other things. I disagree that 95% of fans say Adryan was a waste of time, the applause in the clips showed that. Adryan was one of the Cellino signings and was disliked by some for that reason, along with the other Cellino signings, plus Redders didn't like him either. I remember many saying Berardi was useless at the beginning, I saw the potential in the lad and supported him while many were belittling him, how things have changed. Ristac, you were on this forum when I first joined, I've mentioned a few times in past I couldn't get to games as much these days. When I've posted my opinions I've never said I was at the match, in some of my posts I even mention comments made by Gray, Whelan and other commentaters. If you choose not to read my future opinions on matches then so be it, it's your choice and I'll respect that........
Nobody wanted this lad to succeed more than me, and my opinion on him isn't biased towards a dislike for Cellino. Because, quite frankly I liked are new overseas signing policy at the time and I thought it was quite exciting. No problem with this thread nice to see threads about football having just read through the caption thread. I saw Adryan play a few times and he just unfortunately didn't have the ability. He might show 1 nice bit of skill every 50/60 minutes but that was it. Personally don't think he will ever succeed but he could just be a late bloomer. Possibly more of a Freddy Adu situation. I never questioned why you put it up Fans will clap and cheer at the game, ask 100 fans if Adryan should be in a Leeds shirt now, I am guessing 95% would say no. There were a few of us on Berardi's side, his discipline early doors did him no favours, if I remember right he divided opinion but this is about Adryan. To blame fans disliking Adryan on being a Cellino signing is straw clutching, Silvestre divides opinion, Belluslci divides opinion, Antenucci is pretty much liked, Bamba was last years Cellino signing. I was dead against Cellino last year and I believe last seasons showing, results and appointments hiring and firing proved my dislike as being just. This season I believe Cellino has done everything expected of a club owner plus some, sadly it hasn't worked. Cellino had the option to buy Adryan, you like Cellino more than most so are you mad that he never? Personally I am glad even Cellino saw sense and decided not to waste his money
Morning troops. On one level, Adryan should still be here & adding a bit of class to our midfield. Problem is that no one got hold of him & explained that we don't like girlies diving around or rolling round the floor making out that he's injured. Had a modern day Hunter or a Bremner type had a word in his shell-like, we might have seen what he could really deliver for us. I just hope that this new guy, Botaka, can provide the bit of class and skill the team is missing
We're all pinning our hopes on Botaka. Problem may be that were missing more than one piece of the jigsaw. Final straw for me was seeing Adryan at last years Fulham game shirking out of a diving header abou eight yards from goal. It was a gilt edged chance but he chickened. That alone convinced me I never wanted to see him in a Leeds shirt again. I spent 18 hours getting there and home that day to watch an overpaid chicken that couldn't be arsed
By no means the finished artical but has the skill to go to the very top,him and Berardi both took a hammering,Berardi given more chance has become possibly our best recent player.Adryan IMO due to a large fee if we kept him was never given a fair go.
