You're not wrong there Sold out every night there, but they would have been superb over here Weird crowd in States...lots of whooping and lots of 'personal space' but I had a great time (Still have Steve White's drumsticks from one of the nights)
Extremely popular there, seen him in LA and New York a couple of times . One gig in New York was at Harlem Apollo, legendary venue and a great gig To be fair there were a fair few ex pats there, but lots of locals too
He's a respected musician over there, he's played the likes of House of blues etc, but he's not big or anything.
Doesn't play big venues, but where he does play sell out To be fair it was a few years since I saw him over there though (got given tickets to see him film the Jimmy Kimmel Show too, but didn't go)
I first heard it here at The Brixton Academy. The night after Steve Marriot passed. Kicked off with Tin Soldier "For Steve" Tales From The Riverbank, That's Entertainment, Precious, Carnation... ****ing top night, start to finish, old tunes & new. Max Beesley (actor) on percussion.
Bitterness Rising !!! Sounds good actually Had a bit of Indianna wants me .. In it Guys he s sounding good
Colourist. For the avoidance of doubt there is no such thing as 'American English'. There is the English language and there are mistakes.
Fair bit to wade through, but even his more recent albums are good, you just have to accept they're not the same as any other stuff (Changing man dontcha know!)
While we're on the Weller subject I saw him at a really small gig in Abbey Rd studios It was televised and me and Mrs Tash appeared on it several times as we were right at the front ( ****ing great gig by the way) I recorded it on Sky, but does anyone know if you can somehow save programmes off your Sky planner onto a hard drive or disc? ( replies which use the word Kodi are not allowed) Cheers
So the lessons are proving helpful? Murricun spel cheker, numbskull. Did you copy-and-paste that from one of your earlier masterpieces? It seems to be familiar. Repetitive and boring. Again.
