We already have 5 quality players at the cost of £1.5m + a tribunal with PJ confirming he's had a bid of 1 player turned down by a club and the possibility of another 2 in the works. When they have signed, in their interviews they said they were sold the club by PJ. Where has anyone said a player has turned us down other than Billy Sharp who wont leave Sheffield? I really do despair at the amount of Town fans who cry when there's still a month and a half of transfer window left to go.
Bowyer , quality player. Chopra, quality player. Ingarmarson, quality player (albiet with a sick note) So who are these quality players that we keep on missing out on?? Messi ?? Suarez ?? Terry ?? Me, im happy with the calibre of players coming in. Im also very very happy that we have a wage structure to keep to. Cardiff almost went under by overstretching, saved at the last minute by a buy out. Portsmouth the same. Ditto Birmingham. COYB !!

I thought this was an ironic post at first quoting Roy Keane but clearly not. At least 3 out of the 5 of our signings are of a high quality and many clubs of a higher standing were in the market for them, i.e Bowyer, Chopra and Cresswell. Plus both Ellington and Ingarmarson are potentially quality signings if Jewell can get the best out of them, which I have confidence he will do. I also think this blame Clegg culture is becoming a bit repetitive and he seems like the hate figure at the club atm, we always have someone to blame. This summer he seems to have gone about his job very well and Jewell seems to have not had half as much trouble as much as Mr. Keane did in attracting players. I feel that tells a story in itself. I feel it has been a very promising summer in the transfer market, we have got geniune quality in, surprisingly in some cases considering the lack of quality in our squad and the lack of a squad, I'm surprised certain players decided to come here as the squad after Mr Keanes tenure was an absolute shabbles.

wright phillips would pull the crowds with a crowd of 30 000 for home games that would go a long way to paying his wages
