    You've got to admit, Trebs, UIR is a tad hysterical. You expect it from Fistian, who has absolutely no sense of irony whatsoever (and disappearedc from these boards for the Moyes term, in truth) but UIR once had a sense of humour.     I think a lot of Liverpool fans in truth are envious of utd's success and respect the mans achievements. But respect him as a person, absolutely not. As jenners said not a patch on Paisley, and not fit to lace Shankly or Dalglish's boots.

    Not sure what 'hollow self gratification' is btw, it sounds like a contradiction of terms but at least you got your spelling right this time, it's been a bit off lately <laugh>

    In all honesty, domestically he did given his time as utd manager, but if you like him are totally honest it burnt his head out that he only won two big ones, he put more onus on winning big ears but could only hack it domestically considering the amount of attempts he had at being a European legendary manager.
