Hopefully Sanchez will hit a purple form and none of our key players will get injured!

You have to feel so sorry for him, he's such an amazing player, and seems to be genuinely nice to boot, but keeps getting held back by injuries all the time...

And, of course, Ramsey will hit form for Wales and help us beat Bosnia and qualify for the Euros! <nahnah> Then he could carry that goal scoring form into his club games!

Yes let's hope. I really want Wales to advance as they play good football. Also I'd love to see Bale tear a new one against the very best.

They didn't show much patience with Brenda and even less with Hodgson. The one thing Klopp needs is patience, unfortunately the expectations far exceed the reality of what Liverpool can achieve at the moment. Talking to the legion of fans perfectly represent this delusional view.

Liverpool fans just want decent football and a little hope... everything else can wait. He'll get time because he has pedigree.

That's what Brendan lacked... the problems when he arrived were still there when he left and there was no sign of him being capable of changing things.

Roy was the death rattle of a dying club strangled by its owners... the real reason we're where we are now.

I know what you mean, but was Brendan that bad? After all he did get close to winning the league and then lost his two best players. Had he got a better pool of players (striker for one), then he could have done better.

But getting Klopp is an obvious upgrade, but what he needs is a supportive and patient board, that will back him to the hilt. He needs time to build his own philosophy and team, and we will see if Liverpool allow him to do this. Unfortunately, he comes at a time when the stadium rebuild is happening and we all know what that leads to, tightening of belts all round.

I do like Klopp quite a bit and he is a proper character. These are some of the latest quotes coming from him.

"I know what I want. First I need to talk to the players to find a common way. We will find that and who wants to do what I propose.

"Whoever wants to do what I want can be a good friend of mine. And it is not so bad a thing to be a friend of mine."

It is understood that Klopp will operate in this existing system but the German pointed out that he would have a decisive role.

"It's enough for me to have the first and last word," said Klopp. - this is where it is imperitive that he is the main man, and not being told what to do.

But this quote reminds me of an Arsenal of times gone by, an Arsene team from his early tenure -

"Winning is important, but so is how you win and how you play the game," he said. "I believe in a playing philosophy that is very emotional, very fast and very strong.

"Everybody knows me. I haven't changed in four months. [My style is] emotion inside, it's speed, it's a transition game. All the things that make football interesting for me I want to see on the pitch. I have said this phrase 'full-throttle' football. It will be this."

Think Brendan was good at giving Suarez, Sturridge etc a platform to succeed but it was at the cost of our defence. When Suarez left and Sturridge got injured it laid bare his deficiencies and all the players he asked for have disappointed. He might become a great coach but we can't wait.

Don't think the stadium will impact much... it's nothing on the investment in say the Emirates.

And Silva has been crocked for Spain (same as Aguero for Argentina). City players are falling like fly's, this could make the PL interesting <ok>

Aguero could be out for up to 8 weeks. Silva apparently crocked for Spain too
Terrible for City, great for everyone else

Yup, It's weird a few years ago City had a ton of centre forwards.

Makes me wonder why they didn't try and keep hold of Tevez, Dzeko or even Negredo. I would take any of those guys over Wilfred Bony.

Klopp is an interesting character and his teams play the kind of football I like to watch.

But in terms of trophies he only really won two league titles in his managerial career and to be fair Guardiola tactically outclassed him on multiple occasions when he arrived in that league.

Tevez has never stayed long anywhere, mercenary.

Dzeko was ok, scored some great goals from distance but not enough.

Negredo was a weird one, started the season on fire, got injured then got sold. Maybe he really wanted out because he was homesick or something?

Lots of foreign managers find the PL very different from what they are used to. Managers who have travelled a lot seem to adapt better/quicker.

Yeah, Negredo was weird because even though they rotated their forwards he scored 23 goals in his first Season. Not too bad (more than Giroud has managed at Arsenal)
