2-0 Sterling. Good work from Vardy.

Just need 11 enthusiastic Vardys running around, then Roy can do away with any technical stuff.

Was Bertie told not to cross the halfway line in the 2nd half?

I thought Walcott was good. Of all the players that ever left us, I hold him the most dear. Come back Theo!

One positive was that I did feel proud seeing so many players with association to Saints playing.

Liked the way Vardy passed to a player in a better position....must have been very tempted to shoot himself. Like to see a player who isn't selfish.

That was to show Sterling that it is possible.

I actually feel more proud of Steven Davis and Shane Long, tbh.

Northern Island match here if anybody hasn't seen the goals: http://www.footballorgin.net/2015/10/euro-2016-qualifiers-northern-ireland-v.html

Start watching around 35.15 for Steve's first goal, well worked. About 2.30 into the 2nd video for MacGennis's header, and 11.00 for Davis's second. What strikes you is the utter, unalloyed joy. These guys don't usually get nights like this, perhaps Steve Davis aside. He led his NI side excellently.

Is it just me or are all "expert" analyst's just crap!? I though Glenda was useless tonight. Always just stating the friggin obvious. Unfortunately I tend to think the same of all of them so maybe its just me & my age! And whilst I'm havin a rant, Hodgson? Does exactly what it says on the tin! No disrespect but he's really just Fulham. I've also found recently he seems to be sticking his orr(?) into domestic club issues which I think is very dangerous.

I think Gary Neville is a genuine breath of fresh air, and because he's on the same team, Jamie Carragher has to hold his end up. But yeah, by and large they are all a bit so-so. I quite like Ruud Gullit actually. He spots the little things and they are often interesting.

Incidentally, not illustrative of my comments, but here is Gullit mentioning Koeman during today's forthcoming Football Focus: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34486687

I never thought I would say it but I actually quite enjoy when Robbie Savage is in the commentary box. I know he is a bit of a muppet but he says what's on his mind and talks with passion.
