Until monk gets the right balance in the team I think we'll struggle for a while with midfielders chipping in.
Players came to Swansea to learn "The Swansea Way " , it consisted of fast wingers , witch hasn't changed and three middle midfielders that were sharp passing , which has changed.Theres nobody left to teach the Swansea way. After watching Rangels superb game against the Spurs , I think it's time to give Britton a chance to get the passing game going in the middle.Just an opinion , if anyone can get our passing game going , it's Britton.
I rate that Tom Carroll who you lot had on loan from Spurs, I think he would suit you lot and he's not getting much time at Spurs. (Goals not really his thing though)
Britton is old hat and we need to get back playing like we played our first few games, Play leon and we will carry on as we are and wont win many games as teams have sussed us out big time as results have shown. Relegation is a possibility if monk don't get back the positive play we had and executed to near perfection at the beginning then we are fcuked.......Play leons old hat football does not bare thinking about as that has been easily dealt with by everyone.....
Leon is a month or so older than Rangel , Rangels first start of the season was the best for a right back all season. How do you know what Britton will do daiswan to be able to say he's old hat?.Take your word for it , I'll pass.Time for you to get a new hat buddy
Why have we brought in others to replace leon and rangel two of my favorite players in the past, and that's just it in the past. Use them when we have nobody else but dont get all sentimental and use them.....We have younger and better now and since the old hat has been involved we have not won a game and played well below our standard. Leon is no captain in any shape or form and he is easily dealt with today whether you like it or not......you might as well play trundle our best striker ever if you just want to stay as we are......The team has proved what they can do but bringing in these has been's has seen us slide down the table towards relegation...
You just assume my reasoning is "Sentimental ", doesn't make it true, but you have a habit of "Assuming ".I m not saying Britton and Rangel are the best players players for their respective positions , only that they could very well bring the best out of the rest.I don't know about anyone else , but it was a joy to watch Rangel bring something back I hadn't seen for a while , good give and go passing up the right and I expect Britton to bring some stability to short passing out of our half .This " Park the bus " playing we've been playing so far this season , and waiting for a lucky break is for the birds. We had a season ,I think , where we had a majority of possession in all but two games. This season we will be lucky to have two games were we rule possession.
