He's the best available manager you could have hoped for. The issues are going to be lack of funds, ability to attract players and fan expectations. Lack of funds: Rodgers spent big and has assembled a squad that is packed with expensive but average players. FSG aren't going to chuck anothe £300 million at this team unless Klopp can convince City and Barca to spend £150million on Coutinho and Benteke. Ability to attract players: this doesn't need explaining. Fan expectations: you expect top four and aspire to a title challenge. Neither are realistic.
Klopp is pretty cool to be fair. West Ham and Liverpool have the two coolest managers in the Prem that's for sure. Bilic is still well out in front though.
Klopp will ruffle a few feathers and i honestly cant wait for that to be honest, And theres no doubt he can attract a higher calibre of player than Rodgers could have realistically aimed for regardless of CL football for at least a few windows, enough time to have us competing again so not too worried in that respect. goodtimes
That was the funniest thing in the series, which wasn't very funny after the first couple of episodes.
I used to watch it occasionaly and it was fun at times but not the comedy genius that some think it is.
It was a good idea and had funny moments. The script writers were lazy though and relied on a handful of gags that they repeated in every episode in every series for years. "Listen very carefully I shall say this only once" wasn't even funny the first time. Also, people like London's Twitchiest Sphincter must have considered it very racist.
Apparently, they used to run the show in France, which meant that the "French" characters had their lines translated into and overdubbed in French. Since part of the "comedy" was hearing the cod-French accents, how the hell did that work! You would have had that Noddy copper character saying "Good Moaning!" in actual French, which would have completely destroyed the entire "joke!"
Klopp's promised the Dippers at least one title in the next four years. I'm fairly certain that won't happen...
We all know how you'll deal with Klopp. The same way you deal with every new manager and signing! It's like a baby that crawls under a table and then sits up and bangs his head. He crawls out crying but a few minutes later he's back under the table with a sore head.
