Is this the final layer of Cortese's iron curtain being raised? As much as I think the Saints media team do a great job in terms of social media and being open with supporters. The output is very much club controlled and due to the national presses obsessions with the big four and transfers we rarely get to quiz the club about what their future plans are. So i hope those in attendance ask some interesting questions
Hope the 3 most important questions get asked. 1. Ron, are you signing a new contract? 2. Ron, are you signing a new contract? 3. Ron, are you signing a new contract?
In going to ask him why he hasn't dropped Pelle.... ..... Joking! I'm going to ask him if he has tried Vin's home made garlic Mayo. Allegedly it's pretty damn good. Allegedly.
Anybody see this with Ralph Krueger making comments about the long term with Ronald Koeman: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/sp...eger-Ronald-Koeman-committed-Southampton.html
Yes, I think that he will see out his contract but that doesn't mean that he will sign another. I would be delighted if he did but I don't expect it.
Regrettably I think you are right....but there is a little bit of me that has hope (which a few months ago I didn't have). The thought of Koeman elsewhere trying to sign our best players is the stuff of nightmares.
As a side thought....I bet Klopp is a name on Les Reed's little list of possible Saints' managers. Probably been crossed off now....unless he can be convinced in the future to come to a proper club
How about, to RK. "Following your comment about enjoying Mane whilst we have him, can you put out a blanket statement saying that no players will be leaving in January?" It's hard enough dealing with the summer meltdown, without having the same in January.
