That Japan shocker might just have been the kick up the arse they needed, looking ominously good now...
The quarters are where the real competition begins, there'll be no hiding place when it's sh*t or bust...
Ruggers is for twats , police officers and prison officers .... Ohhh and twats !!! Watching grown men chase an egg about is like watching paint dry .
Pink gloss of coarse !!! I love mocking rugby , just personal thing can't watch it !!!! Boring , it's just boring , games won and lost on endless dubious penaltys that neither team even no what are given for !
Hey Jimbo, give it a go! Instead of being so negative, at least have a try at finding out what all the fuss is about. You never know you might enjoy it and that's got to be a good thing huh? Another string to your bow etc. Here's a link to a simple guide to the game ... ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/rules_and_equipment/4200680.stm I know it seems complicated at first, but once you get the basics under your belt you'll realise what a great sport you've opened yourself unto. I've sat down and watched it with folk who play rugby. They still learn from the commentary. It's all part of the conundrum , get the chip off of your shoulder and just enjoy it for what it is. This is as close to sport in it's purest form as you can get.
Mate I went to an all boys Catholics school , we played rugby as standard I know what the rules are , football was a rare treat , it was **** then , and still is imho... To many penaltys , to many stoppages ... And the scrum .... Wtf is that all about ... Ithey always seem to throw the ball backwards into there half of the scrum , 8 out 10 times it collapses to mound of geezers on the floor looking perplexed as to what happened and what they were actually trying to do ! Zzzzzzzzzz No thanks ruggers
Enjoy the match Taff...shout for me.....I'm off to France for my birthday treat.... But will find a bar....should be interesting... Viva La Pays de Galles
You should try rugby league first Jimbo, its a much better game to play and watch. I'll be cheering on Wigan on Saturday as they've been my league side for years, and they are also playing Leeds.
