Haven't been this excited about any acquisition since Torres, probably. For me though, time is key. Klopp is very much everyone's first choice and the there's not one LFC who's not happy, but it's important to not create an unbearable weight on Klopp's shoulders right from the off. I firmly believe we'll go places under him, but the reality is he'll need time to get across his ideas and his ways of working, for me anything that we get from this season is now a bonus, and no matter what happens, Klopp will firmly have my backing going in to next season.

You know what I like most about that interview? There's no bullshit. Nothing about three year plans, transition etc. just an assessment of where we are right now, acknowledging the teams potential rather than lack of, and highlighting our position in the league is not a disaster and can be improved on.
