    It will take a while before they fully adapt to a new style of play. Prob Xmas to be fluent.

    I expect to see immediate improvement though because the first few games of any managers mid-season appointment there is usually an extra bounce in the players step during the honeymoon period. They play extra hard.

    A hangover follows the honeymoon games for a few games- the enthusiasm dies a little and tactics still new... and then the team settles down to whatever level they belong at.

    That pattern seems to repeat over and over across different teams who get new managers in the middle of a season.

    2/3 good games. 2/3 bad games... and only after that do you see the real team.

    It's hidden in an envelope in the manager's office.

    Will your second son be Norbert then? Or is that taking Klopp-worship too far?

    It can mean the difference between 4th and 5th place.

    Final game of the season... 5 mins to go... Benteke running at goal glances over at Klopp see him wearing a baseball cap;
    "Well if Jurgen couldn't be bothered to put in the effort to brush his hair today perhaps it's ok if I only play at 95%".

    Consequently, he narrowly missed getting to the ball on time and doesn't score the winning goal. We finish 5th. 1 point behind Crystal Palace and the Champions League. All because Klopp wouldn't invest in a comb.

    Wearing a cap would cost us points. Klopp would have won back to back championsleagues with Dortmund if he ditched the cap.

    Fact.
