To be fair the US is trying to play catchup with us. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/...-of-ten-countries-so-look-out-Luxembourg.html
The fickle reaction from rival fans is nothing if not predictable. Last year no one had a bad word to fay about Klopp, last sunday theres was "no way" Klopp was coming to Anfield. and "why on earth would Klopp want to joining Liverpool". Now today (judging by comments from rival fans on another website) Klopp is overrated and his record last season are the only statistics we shou;d judge him on apparently
Was trying to think about the last time I was this positive about a manager joining....and I can't....Houllier and Rafa come closest I guess.....Up until Souness it was more concern that we'd be able to continue to dominate....Kenny part two was only ever a stop gap......I have high hopes Assuming he signs #nojinx
My phone hasn't stopped tonight.....mostly rival fans saying what a great signing he is..... It must only be the manure.....
What's happening at 10 am, page ? P.s. get on my Fan scouser thread and agree to be my front man. #imdeadserious
I've moved over the border into the picturesque metropolitan borough of Knowsley, our houses go for £2 so your out of luck Hash.
Arrogant perhaps wasn't the right word. I think claiming signing Klopp shows that we can still attract the very best is a red herring, as you rightly say the circumstances just all fell into place. Ancelotti was reported to be the favourite before and after Brod was sacked. We even had reports of two LFC board members wanting the Italian too. He may not have turned is down but I always felt that appointment was much less likely. I felt Klopp was likely purely because of what he'd previously said. In short, I think we should appreciation the good fortune we've had here. About time too...
