Yeah, exactly! There where no whistle blowers because they where all on the bastard take. How hard would it be for the leading international nations to form a break away group and move away from FIFA? Surely a whole lot easier than trying to rebuild this monumental steaming pile of corrupt dogshit!
Has Blatter been accused of rape and murder? I mustve missed that part. Or did he just preside over the most successful period in the history of football? Yeah fair point, it's probably the equivalent of rape and murder.... And why do you think this will mean an end to corruption amongst football's governing bodies in the future? I never suggested anyone should bury their heads in the sand, did i? Or is that again another thing I have missed? And what corruption is this in Italian football that you refer to? The part when teams were given serious punishments for the exact same activity that is glossed over in English football and just accepted? Or do you mean individuals being arrested and charged for betting on football matches in which they have absolutely zero involvement or influence, like happens in England every single week of the year and is perfectly legal here but just happens to be banned in Italy? Personally I think, if the allegations stand, that it's a very very sad day for football and sport.
The bloke's a ****, he should have gone years ago, I can't believe anyone isn't happy to see the back of the twat.
Blatter's lawyers have isseud a statement saying he shouldn't have been suspended without a hearing as it's against their rules... please log in to view this image Though it seems they haven't actually read the rules, which say no hearing is required... please log in to view this image
Hardly. That Blatter's predecessor was corrupt as well is all the more reason to celebrate that finally one of the bastards has fallen.
I just thought your comment 'I really dont understand why people are celebrating this' was an odd one under the circumstances.
I personally think Blatter is innocent and this is all very mean. Now, I'm off to buy a house outright as well as a sports car. Good day to you!
Rob Harris @RobHarris FIFA vice president David Gill & fellow FIFA executive cttee member Wolfgang Niersbach have called for emergency ExCo meeting.
I'm celebrating because after years and years of football's governing body been run by corrupt criminals, it may, just may be coming to an end. That has to be worth celebrating.
Whistle blowers are about but if no one wants to listen then it's very very difficult. Organisations don't always want to hear 'some of your staff are unscrupulous, robbing bastards only out for themselves'. It's sometimes easier to ignore the whistleblowers and stick head firmly in sand with arse in the air.
You would hope so. How Dyke/FA can still back Platini beggars belief. Platini has been at it for years and tainted his playing reputation now.
