That's exactly how I feel. Houllier won trophies. He wasn't a total disaster. He did ok. The managers before Houllier (besides sourness) all won trophies. Kenny didn't do too terrible but Roy and Rodgers (bar one season) have been a nightmare. As a club it's been worrying they might be the new norm.
Roy alternates between success and absolute failure. If you look at his history he had been an absolute disaster at over 50% of the assignments he had had. Most of his successes came in uncompetitive leagues or taking over an already successful side. Could tell just by looking at his history he would flop with us.
I'm still waiting for the lean [or scarf held aloft at Anfield] When that happens we want an enormous picture posted [you can photoshop out any headgear that might be worn to keep Milk happy]
BBC saying O'Driscoll has left the club, McAllister has been removed as first team coach so he could well be in line for a different role ??
The cult of the manager is nothing new. Where in recent years it has been Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Sir Alex Ferguson whose every utterance has become headline news, in years gone by it was Brian Clough and Sir Matt Busby. Shankly, Paisley? FFS
BBC short factfile has Klopp down as being born in 1947 so now a sprightly 68 years old. Started his playing career at Mainz aged 42. He'll be retiring soon
