James Pearce a few minutes ago. Four of Brendan Rodgers' backroom staff are set to leave Anfield after being informed that they are not needed as part of Jurgen Klopp's new set-up. James Pearce writes: "Assistant boss Sean O’Driscoll, first-team coach Gary McAllister, head of performance Glen Driscoll and head of opposition analysis Chris Davies have all been informed they won’t be part of the new coaching set-up."
Do feel bad for Mac and SOD but in reality, they shouldn't have been hired in the first place. Mac certainly can play a role with the youngsters.
That was weird I was on the actual news story and that's the link I posted but it came out different. Thanks for posting the proper link
I heard from a few people now that we had everything sorted last Sunday. Had to delay the process because there could have been a potential legal case if the club were seen to be looking for replacements whilst Rodgers was still employed.
Thought that was obvious. But yeah his number 2 has been confirmed(to Pearce) "Experienced Bosnian coach Buvac will be Klopp’s No 2, while Krawietz will be the video analyst" http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jurgen-klopp-liverpool-fc-four-10220850
Jurgen Klopp will arrive on Merseyside on Thursday to put the finishing touches on what is thought to be a three-year contract at Liverpool FC. Fans are wondering just when everything will happen. As things stand, it is believed he will be confirmed on Thursday, subject to the deal being completed as expected. He is expected to arrive on Merseyside later on Thursday afternoon. If he is confirmed, there is likely to be an introductory press conference - as there has been for other new managers in the past - which could take place either at Anfield or Melwood. That, in theory, would take place on Friday. Klopp quickly emerged as the club's first-choice following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers on Sunday. Rodgers oversaw the Reds' 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, and was informed of his dismissal hours after.
I know you're joking but he might actually be better there. Physically imposing. Doesn't like to run. Good in the air. No-one else on the team better than him to compete for spaces with.
