I agree Jimmy. I was embarrassed when we hired Hodgson and Rodgers. Both managers with no prestige and hardly a draw for players, which has been proven. Nice to have someone players will want to come to Liverpool to play for.

Definitely embarrassed with Roy - one of the worst decisions this club has ever made, and we can thank Purslow, Gerrard, Carra and Ayre for that. Rodgers was young with an exciting philosophy so I didn't mind as much. But agreed - we now have a big name at the club, a star attraction.

Which is what it should be. we've plenty of decent squad players now we have to add the trophy winning quality. Time for FSG to focus.
It has been reported that Klopp is happy with the present squad. " I am going to work with the present squad". My personal opinion is, he's going to wait till summer before making any major signing. However, there is no doubt that some squad members are going to leave in January window either on loan or permanent transfer.
It would make sense for him to take him time and decide where needs strengthening but a controlling centre back is needed badly. I hope that he moves to sort that in January.
Sorry to disagree here but both Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalgliesh had better records in management than Klopp does and were not 'underwhelming`. Hodgson had managed Inter Milan and the Swiss and Finnish national teams and Kenny is a far bigger name in football than Klopp. Jürgen Klopp, in comparison, has never managed or played outside of the Bundesliga and has only a couple of domestic titles to his name - nonetheless I hope that he is a success for you.

I don't think we have major problems, there are two or three area's that need strengthening and two or three players that won't fit Klopp's playing style but that can be addressed in Jan/summer. We have a squad full of talent
Hodgson a better record than Klopp he managed inter... And did ****. He never won any trophies in a major league and did **** all in European competitions. kenny is a bigger name from a playing perspective, but as a manager, when we re appointed him he's been out the game for a while and wasn't a big name appointment.
****ing lol. He's not even been appointed yet and he's being touted as a miracle worker. Even @jesuschrist couldn't turn that headless chicken into an 'elite talent'
