To be honest, I haven't really paid attention. Seen a couple of headlines about him being in talks with Liverpool. I mentioned in the summer that a couple of people thought that Liverpool would be a good fit. If you mean more in general about people's feelings about him, he's well liked for his sense of humour and was respected as a TV pundit (I think he stopped doing that when he took the Dortmund job). Courted controversy a couple of times with his touchline antics, but not enough to really damage his reputation. In terms of quality, he's had two jobs (Dortmund and Mainz) and done very well in both, and is probably about the most highly-regarded German manager out there now.

So the electronic signs above the highway today gave me a little dark chuckle. "Use caution. Do not drive around barricades" There has to be a reason they felt the need to change the signs to that. Presumably some redneck idiots decided that their pickups could handle a flooded road or broken bridge and went around barricades and got themselves in trouble.
I probably shouldn't have been amused by the sign. There was a reason for that sign. Darwin took in his arms three individuals who died going around barricades to drive on closed roads at night. I suspected it might just be idiots who got stuck trying to travel on closed roads but the truth is more sinister. Some roads look safe at night if you don't see that the ground under them is washed away... People drive on the roads which have become just an asphalt vaneer and then it collapses beneath them.
